bits and pieces

Since I've started homeschooling little A, I've found less time for blogging, but I'm hoping to still pop in from time to time to share updates and recipes, etc. Here are a few pics from the last few weeks:

We bought a year pass to our local zoo and have been making regular field trips there. My zinnias have been blooming like crazy and I love the pops of color they add to the front of the house. The weather has been insanely hot and I'm already so looking forward to our trip to Canada in September for some cooler temps! What's new with you?
