Go Raw makes a few varieties I really love such as these Original cookies, and their Spirulina cookies, and Pizza Flax Snax. I found them at my local food co-op for around $4 for a 3 ounce package.
Kind bars are great for grabbing on your way out the door in the morning when you don't have time to cook, or for a filling snack. My favorite is the Dark Chocolate, Nuts & Sea salt, they only have 5 grams of sugar, yay!
Kale chips! So yummy. They can get a little pricey to buy, so if I have enough time I like to make a batch at home. The flavor combinations are endless!
Ryvita makes a few varieties of wholegrain crackers, my personal favorite being the Fruit & Seed. Whenever I'm craving something sweet, I spread a couple of these with farm fresh organic butter, drizzle on some honey, and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top.
Speaking of sweets, I recently discovered that So Delicious makes almond milk ice cream, and it only has 7 grams of sugar. That's the lowest sugar content I've seen for store-bought ice cream. It actually tastes good too, which is kind of important for ice cream ;)
Some of my other go-to options are pecans, almonds, oranges, avocado slices drizzled with oil and vinegar, bananas with peanut butter, and dark organic chocolate. What are your favorite healthful snacks?
